Are you able to certify our welders?

Yes we can. Welders can be certified, coded and qualified to any required standard under our accreditations.

What specific mechanical tests can you do?

Our services include tensile and bend testing, fracture and impact testing, corrosion and decay testing, hardness and compression testing, positive material identification and chemical analysis. Please click here for a full list of the mechanical tests that we carry out.

Can you perform NDT tests at my site?

Yes we can. We hold UKAS accreditation for testing in-house as well as at customers' sites, with our team of NDT technicians able to travel nationwide with all the equipment needed to carry out the required tests.

Do you carry out failure investigations?

Yes we do. Our failure investigations address failed weldments, parent materials and components, and include carrying out chemical analysis to determine if a parent material or weld metal complies with production or service requirements. We provide comprehensive laboratory reports, which cover all the elements you specify and include full details of test stages and photographic evidence.

Which sectors do you provide services for?

We complete tests far quicker than most, and without ever compromising quality. Our standard turnaround is just 3-5 working days. If time is critical, we can complete some tests in 24 hours if arranged in advance.

Are you approved to write procedures for use under the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)?

Yes we are. Our UKAS Accreditation authorises us to carry out Recognised Third Party Organisation work relating to the Pressure Equipment Directive.

Do you charge for ongoing support?

No we don't. We offer support to new and existing customers on the understanding and interpretation of welding standards and codes as well as welding documentation, welding terminology and industry requirements.
